Celine's Son Gets into Top College

Dave Williamson hurried home from High School with the big news. He held back until Mom, Dad and himself were seated for the goulash and biscuits mom had whipped up. He has been granted an interview at Davisson, an elite 4-year college that his family could never possibly afford. Though it wasn't yet ten in the morning, the air inside the house felt stifling. Sweat beaded on my forehead, and I tightened my ponytail, keeping my hair off my neck.
